Scope
This policy explains how we collect, use, protect and disclose information when you use vegrun.skcfgs.org and related services, including event registration pages.
01 Website Visitors
Like most website operators, we collect non-personally identifying information that browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We collect this information to better understand how visitors use the Website and may publish aggregated statistics from time to time.

For logged-in users or users submitting information through certain features, the system may also record potentially personally identifying information such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We disclose such information only where required by law or under the circumstances described in this policy.
02 Gathering of Personally Identifying Information
Certain visitors choose to interact with the Website in ways that require us to gather personally identifying information, such as event registration, enquiries, purchases or payments. The amount and type of information collected depends on the nature of the interaction and may include names, contact details, receipt or payment information and emergency contact information, limited to what is necessary to complete the service.

In each case, we collect such information only insofar as necessary or appropriate to fulfil or support the purpose of the visitor’s interaction. You may refuse to provide personal information, but this may prevent you from using certain website-related features, such as completing registration or payment.
03 Purposes of Gathering Personally Identifying Information
The purpose of gathering personally identifying information depends on the nature of your interaction with the Website. Personal information may be used for the following purposes:
  • To process event registrations, charity-related activities, donations or payments and related services, including receipts, payments and reconciliation.
  • To establish the necessary service relationship between you and us and/or third-party service providers, such as payment, delivery or system service providers.
  • For data processing and analysis, such as reporting and service improvement.
  • For event notices, marketing communications and contact where permitted by law or with your consent.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
  • For internal record keeping and administration.
  • For other purposes permitted by law or with your consent, and purposes incidental to the above.
04 Aggregated Statistics
We may collect and analyse aggregated statistics about visitor behaviour, such as frequently visited pages, traffic sources and usage trends, and may display this information publicly or provide it to partners for trend reference. However, we do not disclose personally identifying information in such aggregated statistics.
05 Protection and Disclosure of Certain Personal Information
We disclose personally identifying information only to employees, contractors and affiliated organisations who need to know that information to process it on our behalf or to provide services available through the Website, and who have agreed not to disclose it to others. We will not rent or sell personally identifying information to anyone except where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, third parties or the public interest.

Other than as described above, we disclose such information only in response to a subpoena, court order or official governmental request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary. We take measures reasonably necessary to protect against unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of such information.
06 Cookies
A cookie is a piece of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer or device and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use cookies to help identify and track visitors, understand usage and record preferences such as language, login status or page options.

If you do not wish to have cookies placed on your device, you should set your browser to refuse cookies before using the Website. Some features may not function properly without cookies.
07 Privacy Policy Changes
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion, although most changes are likely to be minor. We encourage visitors to check this page regularly for updates. Your continued use of the Website after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Note: In case of any inconsistency between language versions, the English version shall prevail.
